To the Rt. worshipfull his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the
County of Middlesex in their General Sessions at Hicks Hall
assembled

The humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Saint Martin in the Fields in the County
of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under the
Hands and Seals of Simon Mitchell< no role > and Robert Tothill< no role > Esqrires
two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace (whereof one being of the a
Quorum) for the said County of Middlesex bearing Date the twelfth
Day of November last past William Newman< no role > Ruth < no role > his wife and their
three Children to wit William< no role > aged about Six Years John < no role > aged about
Four Years and Jeremiah < no role > aged about Five Months were removed
and conveyed from the Parish of Saint James Clerkenwell in the
said County of Middlesex to the said Parish of Saint Martin in the
Fields as the Place of their last legal Settlement whereby your
Petitioners conceive themselves to be aggrieved

Therefore they humbly appeal to your a
Worships against the Judgement of the said
two Justices and pray your Worships will be
pleased to appoint some Day this present
Sessions to hear and determine the matter
touching the said Appeal.

And your Petitioners shall ever Pray
