To the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Trinity Minories in the Liberty of
[..] the Tower of London
and to the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the Parish of Saint Botolph without Algate
in the the Liberty of
the City of London
Whereas complaint hath been made by you the Church-wardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Trinity
Minories unto us whose Hands
and Seals are hereunto fet, two of his Majesty Justices of the Peace
(where of one is of the Quorum) for the Liberty of ye Tower
That John Holmes< no role > hath
lately intruded himself into Your said Parish of Trinity in
the Minories
there to inhabit Your Parishioner contrary to the Laws relating to
the Settlement of the Poor, and is there like to become charge-
able, if not timely prevented: And Whereas, upon due Examinati-
on and Enquiry made into the Premises, upon Oath
it appears unto us, and we accordingly adjudge, That the Said
John Holmes< no role > is
like to become chargeable unto the Said Parish of Trinity in the
Menories and that the last legal Place of
Settlement of the Said John: Holmes< no role >
is in the Said Parish of
Saint Botolph without aldgate in ye Liberty of the City
of London
These are there in his Majesty's Name, to order and require you
the Said Church-warden and Overseers of the Poor of the parish of
Trinity in the Minories aforesaid that you
or Some of you, do forthwith remove and convey the Said John
Holmes

from your said parish of Trinity in the
Minories to the said parish of Saint Botolph
without aldgate and him deliver
to the Church-warden and Overseers of the Poor there, or Some or
one of them, together with this our Warrant or Order, or a true
one of them,together with this our Warrant or Order,or a true
Copy hereof ;whereby they are like wife required in his Majesty's
Name, and by Virtue of the Statuses in such Case made, forth with to
receive the said John :Holmes
into their said Parish and provide for him
as their own parishioner then under our Hands and Seals,the
Sixth Day of Octobers in the Year of our
Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Thirty Seven
