To the Worshipfull his Majesties Justices of the Peace for
the County of Middlesex in their General Quarter Sessions
at Hicks hall Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the Parish of St. James within the Liberty of
Westmr. in the County of Middlesex .

Humbley Sheweth


That by virtue of a Pass Warrent or order under the hands and [..]
Seals of Ant: Wroth< no role > . and N. Booth Esqrs. two of his Majesties Justices of
the Peace for the County of Middlesex (Whereof one is of the Quorum)
bearing date the 6th day of October 1737 Sarah Jones< no role > wife of John Jones< no role >
was removed from the Parish of Saint Luke in the County of Middlesex
aforesaid to the said Parish of St. James as the Place of her last legal
Settlement Whereby your Petitioners think themselves aggrived

And Therefore humbly Prays that the Court
will be pleased to appoint a time for
bearing and Determining the said
Appeal and that all persons Conce [..]
do Attend as the sometime
