Parish of St. Ann & Agnes in the Liberty of West-
-minster in the County of Middlesex
and to the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of St. James at Clerkenwell
in the said County

Whereas Complaint hath been made by you the Church-wardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of St Ann
And Agnes unto us whose Hands
and Seals are hereunto set, two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
(whereof one is of the Quorum) for the County aforesaid
That
Elizabeth Hill< no role > otherwise
Elizabeth Scott< no role >
lately intruded herself into your said Parish of Ann and
Agnes
there to inhabit as a Parishioner contrary to the Laws relating to
the Settlement of the Poor, and is there like to become charge-
able, if not timely prevented: And whereas, upon due Examinati-
-on and Enquiry made into the Premises, and other
Circumstances upon Oath.
it appears unto us, and we accordingly adjudge, That the said
Elizabeth Hill< no role > Otherwise Elizabeth Scott is
like to become chargeable unto the said Parish of St. Ann and
Agnes and that the last legal Place of
Settlement of the said
Elizabeth hill otherwise Scott is in the said Parish of
St James at Clerkenwell in Middlesex .

These are therefore in his Majesty's Name, to order require you
the said Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
St. Ann and Regn [..] et aforesaid, that you
or some of you, do forthwith remove and convey the said
Elisabeth Hill otherwise Scott
from your said Parish of St. Ann and
agnes to the said Parish of St. James at
Clerkenwell and her delvier
to the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or some or
one of them, together with this our Warrant or Order, or a true
Copy hereof; whereby they are likewise required in his Majesty's
Name, and by Virtue of the Statutes in such Case made, forthwith to
receive the said
Elisabeth Hill otherwise Scolt
into their said Parish- and provide for her
as their own Parishioner. Given under our Hands and Seals, the
Twenty Seventh- Day of September in the Year of our
Lord One Thousand seven Hundred and thirty seven.
