Patrick Cousins< no role > of the Hamlett of Ratcliff
in the County of Middlesex Gentleman maketh
Oath that on the Sixth day of September
Instant he the said Deponant went to the late
Dwelling house of Thomas Dudfield< no role > in Wapping
in the County of Middlesex Sailmaker in
Order [..] Serve him with the Copy of the Petition
and Order of Court here unto Annax'd and when
he Came there he could find no such man but
was told by the neighbours that he left his
house a Twelves months agoe and they knew
not where he was but did believe this Deponant
might hear of him at Mr Olivers at Brooks
Wharf in upper Thames Street accordingly this
deponant went there and Mr Oliver said
he had not Seen him the said Dudfield for Nine Months and
believed he was gone Some where into the West
Country but Knew not where, and this deponant
Further Saith he afterwards went to Seek
the said Dudfields Wife and was Informed the
Lived in the Country but could not Learn
where and that she and her husband Thomas
Dudfield
< no role > had not Lived together for Three years
