Toone of the surveyors of the
high ways in the parish of St. Giles in the fields in
the County of Middx

By Order of the Trustees for putting the Art of parliament
touching the repaire of the high ways leading from the stones
and towards Highgate Gatehouse and Hampstead in execution
(the Roads in the said parish being part of the said high ways) I
do hereby give you notice that the said Trustees do intend to
apply toapply to his Maties Justices of the peace for the County
of Middx to be assembled at the General Quarter session of the
peace to be holden [..] at Hicks Hall in St. John Street in and for
the said County by adjornment on Monday the fifth day of
September next at Nine of the clock in the forenoon of the same
day, and then and there pray that the said Justices to be so
assembled will allott,andappoint, and Order such and so many
of the several persons named [..] List in this behalf deliver
already delivered in to the Court of sessions of the peace for the
said County upon Oath by the surveyors of the high ways in
the said parish, to do their Statute work in this present year
in the List (which hath b

of the saidhigh ways in [..] the said parish) to do their statute work in this present
year one thousand seven hundred & thirty seven upon the high way
in the said parish leading to Highgate Gatehouse & Hampstead in
the said County directed by Art of parliament to be repaired
as the said Justices to be so assembled as aforesaid or the major
part of them shall think fit, in such manner as by a late Act of
parliament in such case made, is directed, Dated the
day of August 1737
