To the Worshipfull his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for the County of Middlesex Assembled in the General
Quarter Sessions at Hicks Hall in Saint John Street in &
for the said County.

The Humble Petition and appeal
of the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Mary
White Chapel in the said County.

Sheweth


That by virtue of an Order under the
hands and Seals of Thomas Exelbee< no role > and Alexander
Genett
< no role > Esqrs. two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace
for the County of Middx aforesaid (whereof one is
of the Quorum) Ann< no role > the Wife of John Flannigan< no role >
an Irish man and her two Children (that is to say)
John< no role > aged three years and James< no role > aged two years the
lawfull Issues of the said John Flannigan and Ann
his Wife were removed from the Hamlett of Mile end
new Town in the said County of Middx to the said parish
of Saint Mary White Chapel as the place of their
last legal Settlement whereby your peitioners
Conceive themselves agrieved and against the said
Order do appeal.

Therefore your Petitioners humbly
prays that a Short day may be
appointed this present Sessions to
hear and determine the matter touching
the said Appeal,
