At the General Session of the peace of the our Sovereign Lord the
King holden for the County of Middx at Hicks hall in St John Street
in the County aforesaid on Tuesday the eighth day of June in the
ninth yeare of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second
King of Great Britain Etc

Upon application made unto this Court by Several of the Trustees
for putting the Act of parliament touching the repair of the
highways loading from the stones end towards Highgate
Gatehouse & Hampstead in the County of Middx in execution
theaforesaid high waysroads in the respective parish of Hornsey
St. Giles in the fields , and Clerkenwell in the Said County being part of the Said
high ways) it is Ordered by this Court that the sorveyors of
the high ways in the Said respective parishes (who have not as
yet Compounded in St. John Street in this County on Friday next
at ten of the Clock in the forenoon, at which time & place
this Court will allott and apportion the Statute work to be
done by the Inhabitants of the Said respective parish in
this present yeare upon the high ways within the
Same loading to Highgate Gatehouse & Hampstead in
the Said County directed by Art of parliament to be
repaired as the Justices of the peace for the said County to
be then assembled at Hicks hall aforesaid or the major
part of them Shall think fit in Such Manner as by a
late Art of parliament in such Case made is directed
