and in the tenth years of the reign of King Geo: the second

Whereas Several Lists were delivered into the Court of the last
General Quarter Session of the peace holden for the County of
Middx by the respective Surveyors of the high ways in the respective
Parishes of Hornsey and St. Giles in the Fields in the Said County
upon Oath mentioned & contained in an Affidavit in writing
annexed to oath of the said Lists, whichAffidavitrespective Lists
are or ought to be true Lists of the Names of the several persons
who within the said respective parishes are obliged to do their
Statute work for this yeare with their Teams and Drughts or
otherwise, as also the Number of Days work which with such Teams
and Draughts or otherwise oath person ought to do on the Roads
in the said respective parishes, Now upon application made unto
this Court by severall of the Trustees for putting the Act of Parliament
touching the repaire of the high ways leading from the [..] stones
end towards High gate Gate house & Hampstead in execution (the
aforesaid Roads in the said respective parishes being part of the
said high ways) This Court doth Order and appoint on Friday the
eighteenth day of June instant at ten of the clock in the forenoon of
the same day at Hicks hall in St. John Street in the said County to
allott, appoint, and order such and so many of the several persons
named in the said respective Lifts to do their Statute work in this
present yeare upon the high ways in the said respective Parishes
leading to High gate Gate house and Hampstead in the said County
directed by Act of Parliament to be repaired as the Justices of the
peace for the said County to be them Assembled at Hickshall
aforesaid or the Major part of them shall think fit in such
manner as by a late Act of Parliament in such case made in
directed, And this Court doth order that the Surveyors of the high
ways in the said respective parishes of Hornsey and St Giles in the Filelds
(who have not as yet compounded with the sid Trestees) do attend this
Court at the time and place aforesaid touching the premisses,
