WHEREAS Complaint hath been made, by you the Churchwar-
dens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish ofEnfield
unto Us, whose Hands and Seals are here-
unto set, two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace (Quorumunus) for the
County ofMiddx ssaforesaid, and in the proper Division That
George Burgin [..] Katherine< no role > his wife & there two Children
Mary Burgin< no role > about the Age of Seven Year & Jonathan
Burgin
< no role > about the Age of four year
lately intrudedthemselvesinto your said Parish ofEnfield aforesd.
there to Inhabit asoverParishioners contrary to the Laws relating to the Set-
tlement of the Poor, andarethere become Chargeable: And Whereas, upon
due Examination and Enquiry made into the Premises, by Us the said Justices,
upon the Oath of the saidGeorge Burgon
it appears unto Us, and We accordingly adjudge, That the saidGeorge Burgon< no role >
and Katherine his wife & Mary Burgon & Jonathan there
two Children are
become Chargeable to the Parish ofEnfield aforesaid,
and thatthey haveno ways gain'd a legal Settlement in the said
Parish ofEnfield but thattheirlast legal Place of Settle-
mentisin the Parish ofHkestor in the
County ofDarby where he was born
These are therefore in His Majesty's Name, to Order and Require you the
said Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Enfield aforesaid, that you, or some of you, do forthwith Re-
move and Convey the saidGeorge Burgin & Katherine his wife
and Mary Burgin & Jonathan Burgin there two Children
from your said Parish ofEnfield aforsd.to the Parish of
Hkeston in the County of Darby aforesaid, and deliverthemunto the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor, or to some, or one of them there,
together with this our Warrant of Order, or a true Copy hereof: Whereby they
are likewise Require in His Majesty's Name, and by Virtue of the Statutes in
such Cases made, forthwith to receive the saidGeorge Burgin & Katherine
his wife & Mary Burgin & Jonathan Burgin There two Children
into their said Parish ofHkestor in the County of Darbyand there Provide
forthemas their own Parishioner; until they shall be otherwise Discharged
fromthembut due Course of Law, Then under Our Hands and Seals,
the24thDay ofMarch [..] 1735
