To the Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Saint John the Evangelist in the City of
Westminster in the County of Middlesex and to the
ChurchWardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of Snitterfeld in the County of Warwick and to Each and
Every of them.

Whereas Complaint hath been made unto Us two
of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace of the said City
and Libty (One of us being of the Quorum) by you the
ChurchWardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of Saint John the Evangelist Westminster that John
Jordon
< no role > Margaret< no role > his wife and their two Children (that is
to say) John< no role > aged Upwards of three years and Thomas< no role >
aged upwards of One year have Intruded and lately came
to Inhabit within your said Parish Contrary to Law
and that they are become Chargeable to your said Parishof

We the said Justices upon Examination of the
Premisses taken before Us upon Oath and other Circum-
stances do Adjudge the same to be true and do also
Adjudge that the Place of the last legall Settlement of
the said John Jordon< no role > his Wife and two Children is in
the said Parish Snitterfeld in the County of Warwick.

These are therefore in his Maties Name to require you
on Sight hereof to remove and Convey the said John
Jordon
< no role > his Wife and two Children from and out of your
said Parish of Saint John the Evangelist Westminster
to the sd. Parish of Snitterfeld in the County of Warwick
and them deliver unto the ChurchWardens and Overseers
of the Poor, there, or some or One of them who are
hereby required to receive and Provide for them
According to Law. Given Under our hands and Seals
this 23thday of August 1735.
