His Majesties Justices of the Peace for the saidCounty
(Quorum unus) inhabiting in or near the Parish ofSt. Clements
Danes in the said Countyupon the Oath ofAnne Shee [..]
single womanthe Mother offemaleBastard-Child
born the6thDay ofthis instant [..] in the said Parish ofSt.
Clements Danes That oneNathaniel Deacon< no role > did beget
on the Body of the SaidAnne Sheenthe said
femaleBastard-Child, which said Child isnow become
Chargeable to the said Parish, or which the Church-Wardens
and Overseers of the Poor thereof have Complained,

We the Said Justices, upon the Examination of the said
Anne Sheenthe Mother, upon her Oath, touching the
Father of the said Bastard Child, and the Cause and Circumstances
thereof; Do hereby Adjudge and declare the saidNathaniell
Dencon
< no role > to be the reputed Father of the saidfemale
Bastard-Child, born of the Body of the saidAnne Sheen< no role >
in the Parish aforesaid, and thereupon we do Order, as
well for the Relief, and to save Harmless, and keep Indemnified
the said Parish, as for the Maintaining and Keeping the said
femaleBastard-Child, that the saidNatheneel Deacon< no role > shall
forthwith, upon sight of this our Order, (a true Copy hereof being
first deliver'd unto him) pay, or cause to be paid unto the Church-
Wardens, or Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish, or to
some or one of them, for and towards the Month's Lying-in,
and Laying of the saidAnne Sheen
the Sum oftenn shillings
by the Week for the first Four Weeks from the Birth of the
Said Child, and after the Expiration of the said first Four Weeks,
the saidNatheniel Deacon< no role >
Shall likewise pay, or cause to be paid Weekly, and every
Week the Sum oftwo shillings & six penceof lawful Money
of Great Britain, for and towards the Relief and Maintenance
of the saidfemaleBastard-Child, for so long Time as
the said Child shall be Chargeable to the said Parish of St.
Clements Danes.

And lastly, We do Order that the saidNathaniel
Deacon
< no role > shall forthwith give Security to the
Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Said Parish,
for the true Performance of this our Order, otherwise to find
Sureties for his personal Appearance at the next GeneralQuarter
Sessions of the Peace to be holden for the saidCounty
there to abide such further Order as the Justices then
and there Present shall think fit to make in that behalf. Then
under our Hands and Seals this26th:Day ofAugust
1734.
