To the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of St. George in the County of Middlesex And to
the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Precinct of St. Katherine near the Tower in the said County

Whereas Complaint hath been made unto his Maties
Justices of the Peace of the Said County of Middx (One
being of the Quorum) by the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the Parish of St. George abovesaid that
Joannah Huxford< no role > Widdow is lately come into the said
Parish endeavoring to Settle herselfe there contrary
to Law And she being Aged and in poor and mean
Circumstances we adjudge her likely to become chargeble
to the Said Parish And whereas it appearreth
unto us the Said Justices of the Peace upon Examinacon
taken upon Oath that the last Legal Settlement of the
Said Joanna Huxford< no role > widdow is in the Precinct of
Saint Katherines near the Tower in the Said County
which we do find and Adjudge to be True and where
by Law she is to be Sent

Tho: Jones< no role >


These are therefore in his Maties Name to
will and require you to convey and Pass the Said
Joanna Huxford< no role > widdow from your Said Parish of
St. George to the Precinct of Saint Katherines abovesaid
and deliver her to the Church wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there or to Some or one of them who are
hereby required to provide for her According to Law
Given under our hands and Seales this 8th day of
May Anno Dom 1734
