Parish of St. James within the Libertt of Westminster
in theCountyofMiddlesex
and to the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish ofWest Ham

Whereas Complaint hath been made by you the Church-Wardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Said Parish ofSt James
Westmnisterunto us whose Hands
and Seals are hereunto fet, two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
whereof one is of the Quorum) for theCountyaforesaid,
ThatAnn Hudson< no role > Wife of William Hudson< no role > &
their Child James< no role > aged about 15 Weeks are

lately intrudedand Comeinto your said Parish ofSt. James
Westminster
there to inhabit asParishioners contrary to the Laws relating to
the Settlement of the Poor, andarethere like to become charge-
able, if not timely prevented: And whereas, upon due Examinati-
on and Enquiry made into the Premises,as also on [..]
& other Circumstances
it appears unto us, and we accordingly adjudge, That the said
Ann Hudson< no role > & Child are

like to become chargeable unto the said Parish ofSt James
Westminster and that the last legal Place of
Settlement of the SaidAnn Kud [..] & Child
is in the said Parish of
West Ham in the County of Essex .

There are therefore in his Majesty's Name, to order and require you
the said Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
St James Westminsteraforesaid, that you
or some of you, do forthwith remove and [..]

from your said Parish ofSr James Westmr.
to the said Parish ofWest Ham
andthemdeliver
to the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or some or
one of them, together with this our Warrant, or Order, or a true
Copy hereof; whereby they are likewise required in his Majesty's
Name, and by Virtue of the Statutes in such Cafe made, forthwith to
receive the saidAnn Hudson< no role > & Child
into their saidParish & Careand provide forthem
as their own Parishioner. When under our Hands and Seals, the
13thDay ofMarchin the Year of our
Lord One Thousand Seven-Hundred andthirty three
