the County of Middlesex in their Generall Sessions Assemble

The humble Petitionr Appeale of the Churchwardens
& Answer of the Poor of the parish of St Giles in
the field in the and County.

Sheweth


That by an Order under the hand & Seals of Hor Jones < no role > & Rob. Sam< no role > .
Esqr. two of his Maties Justice of the Peace for the said County (one being
of the Quorum) bearing date the Seventeenth day of January last
Katherine Lister< no role > the widdow of George Lister< no role > doced with three Children
(that is to say) Elizabeth Lister< no role > aged Eight Years Katherine< no role > aged 7 Years
and George Lister< no role > aged two Years were removed from & out of the
Parish of St. George in the said County to the said parish of St. Giles
in the Fields or the place of their last legall Settlement

Yor. Petr. therefore thinking themselves aggrieved by
the Order of the said two Justices Appear to this
Court against the same & humbly pray yor. Worsps
will be pleased to appoint a day to hearing & determining
the same.

At the General Session of the Peace of our Lord the King held at Hicks
Hall in St John Street in & to the County of Midlesex & on Monday the
twenty Fifth day of February in the Seventh Year of the Regin of
our Sovereign Lord George the Second by the Grace of God of Great
Britain Prance & Ireland King Defender of the P Smith

It is Ordered by this Court that the Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poor of
the parish of St George in this County have notice of this Petition & Appeal
& that they & all persons Concerned to attend this Court on Friday next at
ten of the Clerk in the forenoon to hear & a bide the Judgement and
Determination of this Court touching the said Appeals.
