Whereas Complaint hath been made by you the Church-Wardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish ofSaint James
unto us whose Hands
and Seals are hereunto set, two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
(whereof one is of the Quorum) for theCity & Liberty of [..] Westminster
ThatRoger Parker< no role > Aged about Nine years Elizabeth Parker< no role >
Aged Seven years, and Ann Parker< no role > Aged about two
years Children of John Parker< no role > are

lately intrudedand Comeinto your said Parish ofSaint
James
there to inhabit asParishioners contrary to the Laws relating to
the Settlement of the Poor, andarethere like to become charge-
able, if not timely prevented: And Whereas, upon due Examinati-
on and En [..] made into the Premises,And also upon Oath

it appears unto us, and we accordingly adjudge, That the said
Roger, Elizabeth and Ann the Said three Children
are
like to become chargeable unto the said Parish ofSaint James
and that the last legal Place of
Settlement of the saidJohn Parker< no role > and his Said
three Childrenis in the said Parish of
Darrington in the County of Northampton
These are therefore in his Majesty's Name, to order and require you
the said Chuch-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Saint Jamesaforesaid, that you,
or some of you, do forthwith remove and convey the saidRoger
Elizabeth and Ann the Said three Children
from your said Parish ofSaint James
to the said Parish of Darrington
andthemdeliver
to the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or some or
one of them, together with this our Warrant, or Order, or a true
Copy hereof; whereby they are likewise required in his Majesty's
Name, and by Virtue of the Statutes in such Case made, forthwith to
receive the saidRoger Elizabeth & Ann the Said three
Children
into their saidParish & Careand provide forthem
as their own Parishioners.Given under our Hands and Seals, the
NinthDay ofJanuaryin the Year of our
Lord One Thousand, Seven-Hundred andThirty three
