the Prosecution of John Beckett< no role >

Daniel Bedell< no role > of the parish of St. John
the Evangelist Westmr in the County of Middx
Bricklayer Maketh Oath That he was serv'd
with a Warrant at the Suit of the prosecutor
(who is or did work as a Labourer to Bricklayers )
for an Assault upon him That in or about June
last a Bill of Indictment for the said pretended
Offence was found in this Court against this
Deponent To which this Deponent appeared
last Sessions and pleaded Not Guilty And this
Deponent further Saith That he has attended all
this Sessions and is ready and willing to try the
said Indictment and enter into the Merits But
is informed he Cannot without giving the
prosecutor proper Notice And this Deponent
has made what Inquiry he is able but cannot
find out where the prosecutor lives or inhabits
nor knows where he ever did live or inhabit
nor even knew his name till this Deponent
got a Copy of the said Indictment And this
Deponent further Saith That he never did Assault
or Court any Breach of the peace whatsoever
against the prosecutor
