County of Middx Cooper & John Thornton< no role > of the
parish of St. Andrew Holborn [..] doe joyntly &
sevlly Make Oath & first the sd Thomas Cox< no role >
saith that he became bound before Justice
Gifford for the Appearance of Henry Avery< no role >
who stands Indicted in this Court for an Assault
upon Valentine Rolf< no role > & this Deponts further
saith that he hath taken out sevll Warrts
in order to take & bring the sd Avery to Justices
but hath not been able be to dae And the other
Depont. John Thornton< no role > maketh Oath that he
hath been at sevll places where he this Depont
was informed the said Avery was in order
to take him but could not And these Deponts
[..] further make Oath that [..] they have
lately received intelligence that the sd
Avery is at work at St Albans in the
County of Hertford & that the gare in hopes
of taking him between this & the next
Quarter Sessions.
