the Bill came to this Dept. on or abt. three weeks Smikth told
this Dept. that the Deft had given him Seven Shillings &
Six pence to keep out of ye way till the tryall of this
Traverse was over & that he was to have more money when
ye same Over And this Dept. further Saith that he hath
Endeavoured to find out the Sd. Thomas King< no role > in Order to
Subpena him as a Witness for this Dept & can't Learn
where he is for wth reason this Dept. can't go to Tey all
without the Sd. Thomas Kings< no role > Evidence and this Dept.
further Saith that he reced the Notice here to Annexed
