Whereas the Churchwardens & Overseers of the
poor of the parish of St. Andrew Under Shaft
London exhibited their humble peticon and
appeale unto this Court at this Present
General sessions of the peace begunn & holden
for the County of Middx on Monday the twenty
second day of February instant Setting forth
that by virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant
under the hands & Seales of Thomas Pindar< no role > &
William Brooke< no role > Esqrs . two of his Maties Justices of
the peace for the sd. County of Middx Quorum Unus)
bearing date the twenty fifth day of January last
past Frances Davis< no role > Widow of Edward Davis< no role > Edward < no role >
aged about [..] eight yeares & Thomas < no role > aged about
seven yeares her children were removed from the
Parish of St. Giles without Cripplegate in the said
County of Middx unto the said parish of St. Andrew
Undershaft London alledging the said parish of St. Andrew
Undershaft to be the place of their last legal settlemt.
And that the Petrs. conceiving themselves aggreived by
the said Order of the sd. two Justices did therefore
appeale to this Court therefrom, the Matter of which
appeale was appointed to be heard & determined by this
Court on Friday the twenty sixth day of February
