Justices of the Peace for the County
of Middx. in their Generall quarter
Sessions assembled

Several persons whose Names are Subscribed
inhabitants within the Ancient limits of the
Parish of St. James Clerkenwell in the said County.

Sheweth


That Henry Howard< no role > John Burdett< no role > John Godfrey< no role >
and William Coates< no role > have been lately Nominated or
appointed by two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace
of the said County by their Warrant or Order for that
purpose to be Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish
for the year Ensueing, but such Nomination or
Appointment hath been as your Peticoners humbly
Conceive made in an undue manner of Persons not
qualityed or lyable to serve the said office.

Your Peticoners conceiving themselves Ag
grieved by the said Appointment Warrt or
Order doe humbly appeale therefrom & pray
to be relived against the same as to your
Worships shall Seem meet & that a day may
be Appointed for hearing of this Appeale &
the said Persons before named then attend with
the said Warr or Appointment & that Thomas
Harvey
