Whereas an Indictment was preferred at the Generall Quarter
Sessions of the Peace held for the said County of Middx at Hicks Hall in
St: John Street the Thirteenth day of October last past against the
Inhabitants of the Parish of Acton in the County aforesaid for not
repaireing of a Comonr highway lyeing and being in the said Parish
of Acton in the same County called Gunnell Lane leading from the
Village of Willesden to New Brentford in the same County containing
in length one hundred and Fifty rodd and in Oreadth Twenty five feet
These are humbly to certifye That Wee whose Names are hereunto
subscribed being Two of his Majestyes Justices of the peace in and
for the said County of Middx have carefully Viewed and Surveyed the
said highway and that the same has been very well and effectually
repaired and amended since the preferring of the said Bill of
Indictment at the costs charges and Expences of the Inhabitants of the
said Parish of Acton by laying of severall loads of Gravill and Bavins
and other materialls And that the said highway is now in very good
and sufficient repaire Dated this 26th: day of August in the fourth
yeare of the Reigne of our sovereigne Lord George the second by the
Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender
of the Faith Etc Annogz Dui one Thousand Seven hundred and Thirty:
