and to every of them, and to all others, whom these
may concern.

WHEREAS it appeareth unto us, two of his Majesty's Justices of
the Peace for the saidCountyofMiddlesex (Quor' Unus) by the
Complaint of the Churchwarden and Overseers of the Poor of the
HamletofBethnal Green in the saidCountythat
Susannah Claris< no role > Singlewoman about twenty years old is
lately come, and Intruded into the saidHamletofBethnal Green
Endeavouring to gain a Settlement there contrary to Law,
andis likely tobecome a great Charge to the saidHamlet
which we adjudge to be true, and whereas,upon the Examinacon of Elizabeth Clarris< no role >
Mother of the said Susannah Claris< no role > taken before us upon Oath
it appears unto us, That the saidSusannah Claris< no role > was
last legally Settled in the saidParish
ofChrist Church in the County of Middlesex and thatshe
hath notsince gained any legal Settlement
elsewhere: Therefore, We the said Justices, upon the Proof aforesaid, and other
Circumstances, do Adjudge and Deem the Place of the last legal Settlement
of the said Susannah Claris< no role >
to be in the saidParishofChrist Church
and Whither by Lawsheought to be sent.

THESE are therefore, in his Majesty's Name, strictly to Charge and
Command you the said Churchwarden and Overseers of the Poor
of the saidHamlet of Bethnal Green or either of you,
forthwith to remove and convey the saidSusannah Claris< no role > Singlewoman
from and out of your saidHamletofBethnal Green in and
to the saidParishofChrist Church
and deliverher(together with this Precept) to the Churchwarden and
Overseers of the Poor, there or some, or one of them, who are hereby
required to receive and provide forheraccording to Law. Given
under our Hands and Seals, thethirdDay ofOctoberin the
fourthYear of the Reign of our SovereignLord George the Second
by the Grace of God, of Great Britain, France and Ireland,KingDefender
of the Faith, Etc. Anno Domini 1730
