In obedience to an Order of the last Quarter
Sessions of the peace Iforenoonhumbly
Certify thatto havethe Sume of £5. 7s. is
claymed by the Petr. as due to him forthey
his trouble & expences in passing & releiving
of vagrants, And the Petr. in Order to make
out his demand hath Pduced to me several
receipts from the Constables of the parishes &
places whither the Vagrants by him passed
were conveyed [..] but noe otherwho
acknowledge the receipt of the sd Vagrants
But noe other Voucher hath been pdused
to me by the Petr. save the Certificate of
Robert Vyner< no role > James Rogers< no role > & Francis Byng< no role >
Esqrs . three of his Maties Justices of the peace
of this County residing in Uxbridge Division
who Certify the Said Sume of £5.7s.0d. to be
due to the Petr. for the Said Service, the sd
Justicesmaking theircomputing the allowance
with respect to Post Miles,ButAnd according
to the computacon of Usual Miles, according to
the Rates formerly settled by Order of Sessions for
the passing & releiving of Vagrants, I humbly
conceive 13s. to be overcharged, and that there
is justly due to the Petr. four pounds & fourteen
Shillings, for the Service above menconed,
