The humble Petition of Richard Matthews< no role > , late Constable of the Parish
of Uxbridge in the said County for the yeare
1723

Sheweth

That your said Petitioner, in his said
Office, hath Disbursed Divers Sums of Money
for passing and Relieving of Vagrants,
Amounting in the whole to the Sum of five
pounds and Seven Shillings, and may appear
by a Certificate under the hands and Seals of
Robert Vyner< no role > , James Rogers< no role > , and Francis Byng< no role > Esgrs . three of his Maties Justices of
the peace for the said County, Dated the 9th
Day of April Ano. Dni 1724 : which said Sum
your Petitioner is out of Pockett.

Your Petitioner therefore most humbly
prays this Court that he may be
paid and Reimbursed the said Sum
as to your [..] Widows shall seem
