Whereas Thomas Hughes< no role > exhibited his humble
peticon & appeale unto the Court of the last
General Quarter Sessions of the peace holden for
this County by adjornment on Monday the
nineteenth day of January last settingforth
that by an Orderdated the date thebearing date
the thirteenth day of October last under the
hands & seales of Thomas Robe< no role > & HenryMartin
Martin
< no role > Esqrs . then two of his Maties. Justices of the
peace for the said County (Quorum unus)
inhabiting in or neare the Parish of St. James Clerkenwell in the said County the Petr. stands
charged with being and isreputed to beadjudged
to be the reputed Father of a Female Bastard child
born on the body of Jane Hunt< no role > Single woman in
the said Parish of St. James Clerkenwell , And
that by the said Order the Petr. stands alsoe charged
with the payment of the sume of five shillings
into the hands of the Churchwarden & Overseers
of the poor of the said parish for & towards the
Months lying in and laying of the sd. Jane Hunt< no role > ,
and likewise the sume of ten shillings by the
Week for the first four weeks from the birth of
the said child, and after the expiracon of the
said first four weeks then with the sume of two
shillings & six pence P week weekly, And that
