Maties Justices of the Peace for
the County of Middlx at their
Genall Quarter Sessions Assembled

The humble Peticon of James Lane< no role > of the
Parish of St. George in the East in the Said County
of Middlx :

Sheweth


That your Peticoner rents a House of ten Pounds
p ann in the aforesaid Parish and is Rated in
the Summe of two Shillings P month for and
towards the necessary Respect of the poor of the
same: that Sevall of you peticoners Nergbours who rent
Houses of Greater Value and who are in better
Circumstances than your Peticoenr pay but
One Shilling and Six pence: and that Your
Peticoners House never was rated So much
before

Yor. Peticoner threrfore thinks himself
Agreived by the said Rate and humbly
prays that this Houble Court would
Give [..] Sati [..]
as to your Worshipps Shall Seem
meet

And your Peticoner Shall Poor pray Etc
