The humble Petition of John Gibbs< no role >

That Your Petitioner being a poor Child
inhabiting in the Parish of St. Andrew Holborn in the
Liberty of Suffron Hill and Eley Rents was put out an
Apprentice by the Church Wardens and Overseers of the
Poor for the said Parish and Liberty one Samuel

That Your Petitioners said Master having defrauded
Severall Parish of their money by taking poor Boys
Apprentices Vizt. ten or Eleven at once and having not
work for them or doth he allow them Bread to Subsist
nature is (as Your Petitioner is informed) in Newgate
for such frauds

May it therefore please Your Worshipps
to Order Your Petitioners said Master to
Attend this Court and that Your Petitioner may be
releived as to Your Worshipps Shall seem most
meet

And Your Petitioner as in Duty
bound shall ever pray Etc.
