Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us
whore hands and seals are hereunto sett Two of his
Maties Justices of the peace for the said County (Quor un)
by your the said Churchwarden & Overseers of the poor
of the said Hamlett, that Elizabeth Williams< no role > (Now)
wife of John Williams< no role > , formerly Elizabeth
Mathews
< no role > , Widow and Relief of George Matthews< no role >
Deced, with her three children vizt Mary Matthews< no role >
aged about seven years, and Elizabeth Mathews< no role >
aged about Six years, the lawfull. Issue of her said
Deced, husband George Matthews< no role > , And William
williams
< no role > , aged, about Eighteen months, the lawfull
Issue of the said John Williams< no role > , did lately come unto
the said hamlett endeavouring to settle themselves
there Contrary to Law, And, Whereas it appeareth
unto us the said Justices that no Legall Settelment
of the said john Williams< no role > nor of the said George
Matthews
< no role > can befound, and that the said John
Williams
< no role > is Absconded, and that his said wife &
the said three Children are Actually become Charge-
-able to the said hamblett, which Wee Do Adjudge to
be True, And it also appeareth unto us upon Oath.
that the said Elizabeth Williams< no role > , before her intermarri-
-age with the said, George Matthews< no role > . was last legally
Settled in the Hamblett of Wapping Stepney in the
parish of Stepney in the County of Middx aforesaid
Thereofe wee the said Justices Do Adjudge the
Legall Settlement of the said Elizabeth Williams< no role > , &
her said Three Children 10 be in the said Hamlett
of Wapping Stepney .

These are thereofe in his Maties Name to
will and Require you or some or one of you
forthwith on Sight hereof to Remove and Convey
the said Elizabeth Williams< no role > , and her said Three children
from and out of the said Hamlett of Ratcliffe to the
hamlett of Wapping Stepney aforesaid, and them
there leave with the Churchwarden and Overseers of
the poor, or some or one of them who are hereby
Required them to Receive and to carrde of according
to Law, Hereof Sail nto at your pitts. Given
under our Hands and Seals, the 9th Day of September
