Whereas Margaret Christian< no role > the daughter of
Daniel Collins< no role > exhibited her humble peticon
unto this Court at this present Generall Quarter
Sessions of the peace holden for this County on
Monday the third day of July instant settingforth
that the Petr. was on the fifteenth day of
July in the yeare of our Lord one thousand
seven hundred & twenty three [..] by her
Father Daniel Collins< no role > putt an Apprentice
unto Thomas Spurway< no role > & Sarah< no role > his wife for the
terme of seven yeares, Dureing which time
the Petrs. Master & Mistress was to instruct the
petr. in the Art of a Childs Coatmaker , and was
alsoe to find the Petr. with all manner of necessary
apparrell, In consideracon of which covenants
the petrs. Father gave the said Spurway the Sume
of sixteen pounds, But notwithstanding such
covenants & agreemts. neither the petrs. Master
nor Mistress have at any time provided the petr.
with necessarys, nor have at any time instructed
the Petr. in the Art of a Childs Coatmaker, but
on the contrary have taken all the Petrs. cloaths
