Whereas it appeareth unto us whose hands and seals
are hereunto Sett two of his Majties Justices of the peace for
for the sd County quor. unus upon Complaint of the Churchwardens
And overseers of the poor of the parish of St Mary Stratford
Bow in the Sd County that Jane Knight< no role > with one Infant
Aged about Six Months is lately to come into the sd parish
Endeavouring to Settle themselves here without giving
Notice In writing to the Sd Church wardens and or overseers
of the poor or any one of them of the house of their abode in
the sd parish According to the Statute in that Case made
And provided and that the Sd Jane Knight< no role > and her Infant
Are likely to become Chargeable to the sd parish and whereas it
Appeareth unto us the Sd Justices upon the oath of the Sd Jane
Knight< no role > that the Sd Complaint is time and that She was last
Legally Settled in the Hamblett of poplar in the parish of
Stepney and County of middx and no other Subsequent Settlement
Appearing.

These are therefore in his majties. name Strickly to Charge
and Command you and every of you forthwith upon Sight
hereof to remove and Convey the Sd Jane Knight< no role > and her Infant
from the Sd parish of St Mary Stratford Bow in the sd County
the next and direct way to the sd Hamblett of poplar in the
Sd County of middx and deliver them to the Churchwardens
And overseers of the poor there who are hereby requir'd to
provide for them According to Law hereof fail not at your
Perils Given under our hands and Seals the three & twenty
eth Day of May in the thirteenth year of the Reign of
Our Sovereign Lord George by the Grace of God of Great
Brittain France & Irland Knt Defender of the faith
