To the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of St. Anne in the Libty of Westm in the Countyof
Middx and to the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish ofSt: Giles in the Fields
in theCounty of Middx aforesd.

Whereas complaint hath been made by you the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish ofSt: Anns unto Us whose
Hands and Seals are hereunto set, two His Majesty's Justices of
the Peace (Quorum Unus) for theCountyaforesaid, That
Joseph Merem< no role > aged about Seventy Five Years is
lately intrudedand comeinto your said Parish of
St: Anne there to Inhabit asaParishioner contrary to
the Laws relating to the Settlement of the Poor, andisthere likely
to become chargeable, if not timely prevented: And Whereas,
upon due Examination and Enquiry made into the Premises,
and alsoe upon the Oath of the said Joseph Merem< no role >
it appears unto Us, and We accordingly Adjudge, That the Said
Joseph Merem< no role > is
likely to become Chargeable unto the said Parish ofSt: Anns
and that the last Legal Place of Settlement of the said
Joseph Merem< no role > was in the said Parish of
St. Giles in the Fields in the County of Middx aforesd

These are therefore, in His Majesty's Name, to Order and Require
you the said Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish ofSt. Anne aforesaid, that you, or some
of you, do forthwith Remove and Convey the saidJoseph
Merem
< no role > from your said Parish ofSt. Anne
to the said Parish ofSt. Giles in the Fields andhimDeliver
to the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or some or
one of them, together with this our Warrant or Order or a true
Copy hereof; whereby they are likewise Required, in His Majesty's
Name, and by Virtue of the Statutes in such Case made, forthwith
to Receive the saidJoseph Merem< no role >
into their saidParish and Careand provide forhim
as their own Parishioner. Given under our Hands and Seals,
the16thDay ofDecembr.Anno RegniDniurs Georgy
