Whereas complaint hath been made by you the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish ofSt: Anns
unto Us whose
Hands and Seals are hereunto set, two His Majesty's Justices of
the Peace
(Quorum Unus) for theCountyaforesaid, That

aged about Seventy Five Years is
lately intrudedand comeinto your said Parish of
St: Anne
there to Inhabit asaParishioner contrary to
the Laws relating to the Settlement of the Poor, andisthere likely
to become chargeable, if not timely prevented: And Whereas,
upon due Examination and Enquiry made into the Premises,
and alsoe upon the Oath of the said

it appears unto Us, and We accordingly Adjudge, That the Said

likely to become Chargeable unto the said Parish ofSt: Anns
and that the last Legal Place of Settlement of the said

was in the said Parish of
St. Giles in the Fields
in the County of Middx

These are therefore, in His Majesty's Name, to Order and Require
you the said Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish ofSt. Anne
aforesaid, that you, or some
of you, do forthwith Remove and Convey the said
Joseph

from your said Parish ofSt. Anne
to the said Parish ofSt. Giles in the Fields
andhimDeliver
to the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or some or
one of them, together with this our Warrant or Order or a true
Copy hereof; whereby they are likewise Required, in His Majesty's
Name, and by Virtue of the Statutes in such Case made, forthwith
to Receive the said

into their saidParish and Careand provide forhim
