us two of his Majesties Justices of the peace
for the County of Middlesex
(Quor unus) by the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of
parish of St. Leonard Shoreditch
in the said
County That

aged abt.
Six yeares the Lawfull Issue of the said
John

Mary< no role >
his wife
are lately come
into the said parish endeavouring to Settle
there Contrary to Law, And it Appeareth unto
us the said Justices And We do Adjudge that
she is likely to become Chargeable to the said
parish And upon Examinacon of the said
Mary Shittle< no role >
taken upon Oath it Further
Appeareth unto us And Wee Do likewise
Adjudge that the parish of
St. James's
Clerkenwell
in the sd. County of Middlesex
is the
place of the last Legall Legall Settlement of
the said
Mary Shittle< no role >
and her Child
These are therefore in his Majesties
Name to Charge And Comand you the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the poor of the sd. parish of the
Leonard Shoreditch
forthwith to remove & Convey
the said Mary Shittle< no role >
and her sd Child from the sd
parish of St. Leonard Shoreditch
to the sd. parish
of St. James's Clerkenwell
and deliver them
to the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
poor there or to some or one of them who are
hereby required to provide for them according to
Law Given under our hands and sea [..]
