The Information of William Willson< no role > ,
of the Parish of Endfield , in the said County
of Middlesex , one of the Keepers of His Ma-
jesty's Chace , called Endfield Chace , in the said
County, Thomas Smith< no role > , of the said Parish
and County, and Edward Fitzpatrick< no role > , of the
said Parish and County (being credible Persons)
taken on their respective Oaths the 19th Day
of October, in the Year of our Lord One
[..] seven hundred and twenty three , at
Endfield aforesaid, in the said County, before
Henry Cartwright< no role > and Richard Arnold< no role > , Esqrs ;
two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for
the said County, and then and there subscribed
by the said William Willson< no role > , Thomas Smith< no role > ,
and Edward Fitzpatrick< no role > , in the Presence of
the said Justices.

The said William Willson< no role > and Thomas Smith< no role > ,
on their respective Oaths severally inform and
say. That John Dewksberry< no role > of London Labourer ,
with dryerse other armed with Guns and Pi-
ssols, did, after the first Day of June, in the
6th Day of this Instant October , come into End-
field Chace aforesaid, in the said Parish of End-
field and County of Middlesex. And the said
John Berrisford< no role > and Robert Dewksberry< no role > did then
and there wilfully and maliciouly shoot at the
said William Willson< no role > , and Thomas White< no role > , ano-
ther Keeper of the said Chace . And the said
Edward Fitzpatrick< no role > on his Oath informs and says,
That on Saturday the 12th Day of this Instant
October , the said John Berrisford, and Richard
Minshall
< no role > of Winchmore. Hill in the said County,
Baker , and Thomas James< no role > of Endfield aforesaid,
Labourer , did come into the said Chace armed
with Guns and Pistols, and the said Thomas
James
< no role > did then and there Willfully and Mali-
ciously shoot at him the said Edward Fitzpa-
trick
< no role > , and wound the said Fitzpatrick n the Leg,
and so much shatter it, that it hath been since
cut off. And the said John Berrisford < no role > did also
then and there wilfully and maliciously shoot at
the said Thomas White< no role > , by which Shot a Mare
on which the said White then rode was killed.

Upon reading which Information and Certifi-
cate. His Majesty in His Privy Counsil is pleased
to Order, Require, and Command, as it is here-
by Ordered, Required, and Commanded, accor-
ding to the Act of Parliament in that Case made
and provided, that the said John Berrisford< no role > , Ro-
bert Dewksberry
< no role > , and Thomas James< no role > , and every
of them, do and shall respectively surrender them-
selves within the Space of Forty Days next com-
ing after the both Day of this Instant March, be-
ing the Day of the Publication hereof in the
London Gazette, to one of His Majesty's Justices
of the Court of King's Bench, or one of His
Majesty's Justices of the Peace, to the End that
they and every of them may be forthcoming to
answer the Offences wherewith they severally
stand charged by the said Information according
to due Course of Law: And His Majesty is
pleased surcher to order, as it is hereby ordered,
that this Order shall be printed and published in
the next London Gazette, and shall be forthwith
transmitted to the Sheriff of the said County of
Middlesex, and that the said Sheriff shall, within
six Days after the Receipt thereof, by himself or
his Officers, proclaim the sane Order, between
the Hours of Ten in the Morning and Two in
the Afternoon, in the Market-Places, upon the
respective Market-Days of Two Market-Towns
in the said County of Middlesex near the said
Parish of Endfield , and shall cause a true Copy
of this Order to be affixed upon some publick
Place in each of such Market-Towns, according
to the true Intent and Meaning of the Act of
Parliament in that Case made and provided.

his Grace Peregrine Duke of Ancaster Lord Great.

Chamberlain of England, to be Lord Lieutenant
of the County of Lincoln; his Grace this Day
took the Oaths appointed to be taken instead of
the Oaths of Allegiance and Supremacy.

Lisbon , March 1 , N.S. This Day the Fleet front
Bahia , confifting of 30 Merchant-Ships, under the
Convoy of Two Men of War, enterd this Hay [..]
bour: It is already known that they are richly
laden with Sugars and Tobaccos, but the Quantity
of Gold on board the King's Ships cannot as yet
be computed. At the same Time arrived a Man
of War from India , which touched at the Brazils ,
in order to come in Company with this Fleet. By
a Vessel from Gibraltar we have Advice, that his
Britannick Majesty's Sloop Happy, which sailed
from hence for the Downes the 9th past, had been
forced into that Port by contrary Winds.

St: James's, March 9 . The Marquess de Paco-
Bueno, the Spanish Minister having had Audi-
ence of His Majesty, has presented a Letter from
the Garholick King Law in, notifying to His Ma-
jesty his Accession to the Crown. At the same
time the Marquess delivered Credentials from his
said Catholick [..]

Navy-Office, March 6, 1723 .
The Right Honourable the Lords of the Treasurry, ha-
ving appointed Money for paying of Half-pay to the Sea-
Officers from the 31st of December 1722 , to the 31st of
December last , according to His Majesty's Establisbment
on that Behalf; These are to give Notice, That the said
Payments will begin to be made at the Treafurer of the
stant for the Captains, Tuesday the 17th for the Lieute-
nants, and Wednesday the 10th for the Masters; that all
Persons concerned may then and there attend to receive
what may become payable to them, and not only bring
with them the Affidavits required, touching their not
having enjoyed the Benefit if any publick Employment
whatsoever, either at Sea or on Shore, during the Time
they are to be paid the Said Half-Pay, but also produce
Certificates (if they have not done it already) that they
have subscribed the Test, and taken the Oaths required
by the late Act of Parliament; and in case any of
the said Officers shall [..] be able to attend themselves
to receive their Money, but employ Attornies for that
Purpose, that the said Attornies may produce the like
Certificates and [..] form the Perfoms they are
[..]

South-Sea-House , March 5, 1723 .
The Court of Directors of the South Sea Company do
hereby give Notice, That they will at Lady. Day next be
ready to pay off all the said Company's Bands Standing
our for Principal Sums of £200. each; and that from
that Day, all further lnterest thereon shall cease and
determine.And the said Court of Directors do
likewife give Notice, That any Persons possessed of the
said Company's Bonds for Principal Sums at £100. each,
or under, carrying an Interest at £5. per Gent. may
bring the same to the continued for Twelve Months at 4
per Cent. Interest from Lady-Day next, at which Time
they will be ready to pay off all the said Bends which
shall not be so aforesaid, and all further Interest thereon
shall cease and determine.

The Court Directors of the United Company of
Merchants of England Trading to the East-Indies do
hereby give Notice, That a General Court of the said
Company will be holden at the East-India-House in
Leaden-Hall-Street , London , on Wednesday the 25th of
this Instant March , at Eleven in the Forenoon, the same
being a Quarterly Court. And that a General Court
of the said Company will be holden at the same Place on
Thursday the 2d Day of April next , for the Election of
24 Directors for the Tear ensuing, which will continue
from Nine a Clock in the Morning till Six in the Af-
ternoon of the said Day, after which time no Lists will
be taken in, That the Lists of the Members of the said
Company will be ready to be delivered at the said House
on Tuesday the 24th of this Instant March . And that
the Transfer Books of the said Company will be Shut up
on Thursday the 12th of this Instant March , and opened
again on Thursday the 9th of April next .

The Governour and Company of Copper-Miners in
England do hereby give Notice. That a General Court
of the Said Company will be held at their Office in Bush-
vane, on Thursday the 10th Instant, at Eleven of the
Clock in the Forenoon.
