Whereas William Boyce< no role > exhibited his humble peticon
& appeale Unto the Court of the last Generall
Quarter Sessions of the peace holden for this County
by adjornmt. on Tuesday the eighteenth day of
January last setting forth that by an Order dated the
third day of December last under the hands & seales
of Nicholas Jeffreys< no role > & Nathaniel Booth< no role > Esqrs . two of his
Maties. Justices of the peace for this County (Quorum Unns)
the Petr. is adjudged to be the putative Father of a
female Bastard child named Martha< no role > lately borne in
the Parish of St. Andrew Holborne above the Barrs in
the Said County of the body of one Susannah Lamb< no role >
Singlewoman , And thereby the Petr. is Ordered to pay
or cause to be paid unto the Churchwarden & Overseers
of the poor of the Said Parish Some or one of them the
Sume of two Pounds & ten Shillings for the reliefe of
the Said female bastard child for the first four Weeks
after the birth thereof and for the charge of the Said
Susannah Lambs< no role > lyeing in, And that the Petr. alsoe
should weekly & every week after the expiracon of
the said first four weeks pay or cause to be paid to
the said Churchwarden & Overseers of the poor or to
the Churchwarden & Overseers of the poor of the Sd.
parish for the time being or their Successors some or
one of them the sume of two Shillings & Six pence
for & towards the releife & maintenance of the Said
Female bastard child for soe long & at Such times as
She Shall be chargeable to the Said parish Untill she
shall attaine the age of eleven yeares (if she shall
Soe long live) At which time the Petr. should pay
