Whereas it appears unto Us whose hands and Seals are here-
-unto sett two of His Majesties Justices of the Peace
for the said
County (Quor unus) upon the Complaint of you the Church
Wardens and Overseers of the poor of the said parish of St. John
at Hackney
that

deceased
and her two Children by him the said

(namely

aged about Six years and
Elizabeth Browne< no role >
aged about one year and a halfe are become chargeable to
the sd. parish at St. Jno. at Hackney
and have all of them intruded
themselves into your said parish not having gained any
Legall settlement therein nor having brought with them any
Certificate in Writing owning them to be Inhabitants Legally
Settled in any other parish And Whereas it appears unto
Us upon the Examinatoin of the Sd.

and did not gaine any Legall Settlement in this Kingdome
And that she the said

settled in the said parish of Thame

Adjudge the said parish of Thame

last Legall Settlement of the said

parish into the
parish of Thame
in Oxfordshire
and them
to deliver to the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said
parish of Thame to be kept and maintained by them as
other poor of their said parish Untill they can be discharged
thereof by due Course of Law. Given under
our Hands and Seals the thirtieth day of January 1723
