WHEREAS it appeareth unto Us, whose Hands and Seals
are hereunto set, Two ofHisMajesties Justices of the
Peace for theCounty of Midd
(Quorum unus) upon the Complaint of the Church-Wardens and Over-
seers of the Poor of the Parish ofSt Giles in the fields
in the said CountythatOwen Philips< no role > & Anne< no role > his
wife are

lately come into the said Parish, endeavouring to settle
themselvesthere without giving Notice in Writing to the said
Church-Wardens, or Overseers of the Poor, or any one of them, of the
House oftheirabode in the said Parish, according to
the Statute in that Case made and provided; Andthatthe saidOwen
Philips
< no role > & Anne< no role > his wife appear to us & wee do adjudged
that they are
likely to become chargeable to the said Parish: AndWhereasit appeareth
unto us,further upon Exaiacon of the sd Owen Philips< no role >
taken upon Oath & wee do likewise adjudge
thatye sd Owen Philips< no role > waslast legally settled in the Parish of
St Martin in the fields in the sd County

These are therefore inhisMajesties Name strictly to Charge and Com-
mand you and every of you, forthwith upon sight hereof to remove and
convey the saidOwen Philips< no role > & Anne< no role > his wife
from the said Parish ofSt Giles in ye fields
in the said Countyto the said Parish ofSt. Martin in
the fields
and deliverthemunto the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the
Poor there, who are hereby required to provide forthem
according to Law: Hereof fail not at your Perils. Given under our Hands
and Seals, the19thday ofJulyin the9thYear
