WHEREAS it appeareth unto Us, whose Hands and Seals
are Hereunto set, Two ofhisMajesties Justices of the
Peace for theCounty of Middx
(Quorum unus) upon the Complaint of the Church-Wardens and Over-
seers of the Poor of the Parish ofSt Giles without Cripplegate
in the saidCounty.thatEleazer Gibbon< no role > & Mary < no role > his wife
with his four Children, Thomas < no role > , William < no role > , Mary < no role > , and Eleazer < no role > are
lately come into the said Parish, endeavouring to settle
themselvesthere without giving Notice in Writing to the said
Church-Wardens, or Overseers of the Poor, or any one of them, of the
House oftheirabode in the said Parish, according to
the Statute in that Case made and provided; And that the saidEleanor
gibson
< no role > wife & four Children by reason of their poverty are
likely to become chargeable to the said Parishwhich we adjudge to be trueAnd whereas it appeareth
unto usthe said Justices upon the oath of the said

thathe waslast legally settled in the Parish ofSt
Margarett Westmr in the said County and no other legall
Settlement elsewhere appearing unto us since Wee doe alsoe
adjudge the said Parish of St Margts Westminster to be the
place of his last legall Settlement

These are therefore inhisMajesties Name Strictly to Charge and Com-
mand you and every of you, forthwith upon fight hereof to remove and
convey the saidEleazer Gibbon< no role > wife & four Children
from the said Parish ofSt Giles wout Cripplegate
in the saidCountyto the said Parish ofSt Margarett
Westminster in the Said County
and deliverthemunto the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the
Poor there, who are hereby required to provide forthem
according to Law: Hereof fail not at your Perils. Given under our Hands
and Seals, the31 day of May in the ninth Year
of the Reign of our Soveraign Lord George by the Grace of God,
of Great Britain, France, and Ireland King Defender of the
Faith, Etc. Annoq: Dom. 1723.

And to the Chruchwardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish ofSt Margts Westmr in the Said County
And all others whom it doth or may concern, Etc.
