The humble Petition and appeal of the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the Parish of St: James Westminster Etc.
Sheweth
That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under the Hands and
Seales two of his Majesty's Justices of the peace for the said County of
Middlesex (one being of the Quorum) Bearing date the Seventeenth
day of May 1723

. aforesaid, unto the said Parish of
St. James Westminster
in
the said County of Middx
, alledging the said Parish to be the Place
of her last legall Settlement. That your Petitioners conceiving
themselves Agrieved by the said Warrant and Judgment of the
said two Justices, Do humbly appeal

Your Petitionrs. therefore most humbly pray Your
Worships will be pleased to hear them in the Premises
and that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poore
of the said Parish of St Martins may appear before your
at a Certain day to hear and abide the Judgement
and determination of your Worships Touching this
Appeal.
