Joseph Hardisty< no role > Gent maketh Oath that on Ge Defts request he hath
severall times made dilligent Inquiry after Christopher Goodman< no role > the
Psecutor of this Indictmt in Order to Serve him with A True coppy
of the Notice annexed but can by noe meanes possible as yet heare
where he lodges or finde him out upon which this Deponent Saith
that on the twenty first day of June last he the Dept left A true
coppy of the Notice Annexed for the said Christopher Goodman< no role >
at A Turners Shopp where he usually frequented being over
agt ye Eagle & Child in the Lane London & gave ye same to And Esther
Wilson< no role > ye Mistress of the house to give unto him who said she should
see him the next sunday after After which this Dept went againe to ye said
Mrs Wilson < no role > who tould this Dept tha she had not seen him
the said Goodman< no role > but had seen his mother who toulds her that
her said Son would not be seen this Six Months or to that Effect
but that she had acquainted his said Mother with the sd Notice soe
left for him And this Dept further Saith that the Last Place
of abode of ye sd Christoper Goodman< no role > that this Dept could heare of
was at ye Cheshire Cheese in Milford Lane the house of the
Defts Husband where [..] this Dept left another true coppy of
the annexed Notice on ye sd twenty first day of Jnne last [..]

him to give ye same to ye said Christopher Goodman< no role > asson
as he saw him or could finde him out.
