Wee whose names are hereunto subscribed Justices of
the peace for the County of Middx named in the Order
of Sessions hereuntosubscribedannexed Doe hereby
Certify to his Maties. Justices of the peace for the sd. County
in their Generall Sessions assembled That wee have
[..] in pursuance of the said Order proceeded to
treat with able & experienced Workmen touching
the repaireing of the Sessions house called Hicks hall in
St. John Street in this County & Offices thereto
belonging, and the altering & enlargeing the Court
and makeing addiconall buildings to the sd house in
a convenient substantiall & workman like manner,
And to receive the proposealls of such Workman for
the doeing thereof, and for what Sumes of money
they will under take & agree to doe the Same, And
that Mr. John Hallam< no role > & Mr. George Sampson< no role > have
produced before us the annexed proposealls of the severall
workemen herein after menconed (vizt) p
persons experienced in building & who by our
direccon were employed to take a view of the
premisses and see what was necessary to be done
relating thereunto according to the intent of the sd.
