In pursuance of the Order of Sessions hereunto annex'd, We
whose hands are hereunto Subscribed, his Majties. Justices of the peace
for the County of Middlesex, inhabiting within the Tower Division
in the said County, (Quor unus) did, on the twenty fourth day of
November last , assemble and meet together at a proper & Conven [..]
place within the said Division & County, the Overseers of the poors
of the Liberty of norton falgate in the said Division, as well
as all and every the Petitioners in the said order mentioned,
having before had due Notice of our said Melting and been
informed of the occasion thereof and were then and there summond
to attend; which the said Overseers of the poor did accordingly, but
no more then Six of the said Petitioners (vitzt) John Lambert< no role >
George Prankard< no role > William Ougham< no role > Simon Veagleman< no role > Rebecca< no role >
the Wife of John Galwith< no role > & George Skelton< no role > appeard. And upon
Inspection of the poors Rate of the said Liberty of norsonfalgate
for this present year, One thousand Seven hundred & twenty two
and upon a strict Examinacon & Enquiry into all and every
the Matters and things mentioned in the said Order, and which
were to us therein recomended and referr'd; and hearing
what was insisted upon by the said Peticoners then present
as also by the said Overseers of the poor, and upon due Consideracon
thereupon: Do find that there is no just cause to Quash or Vacate
the said Rate, or to Consider of any other method for the
Settling of a New one, the said present Rate being in our opinions
equall legall & just, except in relation to the particular persons
following (vizt) the said John Lambert< no role > George Prankard< no role > Williams
Ougham
< no role > Simon Veagleman< no role > & George Skelton< no role > , who are overcharg'd
therein, by reason each of them are rated Six pence a month
towards the Relief of the poor of the said Liberty, more then he
ought to pay. which if taken off, and each of them reduced to
Six pence less then what they are now Rated, they then would
be upon an Equall foot with the rest of their Neighbours and
Inhabitants of the sd. Liberty, who are in the like Circumstances.
And'tis our further opinion that all the other Peticioners are
allready equally and impartially rated and in a Just
proportion with the rest of the said Inbabitants, and that
therefore they appear to as not to be aggrieved by the said
Rate
