Whereas the Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor of the
parish of Barking in the County of Essex exhited their
humble peticon & appeale unto the Court of the last General
Quarter Sessions of the peace holden for the County of Middx
by adjornmt. on the twenty ninth day of November last
settingforth that by an Order beareing date the second
day of October last under the hands & selaes of two of his
Maties. Justices of the peace for the County of Middx one Lydia
Ball
< no role > Singlewoman was removed from the parish of St.
Mary Mattfellon als White Chapple in the sd. County to
the sd. parish of Barking in the County of Essex as the place
of her last legall settlemt. And that the petrs. finding themselves
aggreived by the sd. Order appealed to the sd. Court against
the same, the heareing & determining of which appeale was
by Order made by the said Court adjourned untill this present
Generall Sessions of the peace holden for the sd. County of
Middx and the sd. appeale was appointed to be heard on this
sixth day of December instant , Now upon mocon made unto
this Court by Councell for the Churchwardens & Overseers
of the poor of the said parish of St. Mary Mattfellon als White
Chapple to have the heareing of the sd. appeale further
adjourned, This Court on heareing of what was alleged by
Councell for the [..] said Appellants Doth Order that (on paymt
of the same of ten shillings by the Churchwardens & Overseers
of the poor of the sd. parish of St. Mary Mattfellon als White
Chapple unto the said Appellants or one of them for their co [..]
of this days attendance on this Court to prosecute their sd. appeale) the
