Thomas Woodgate< no role > and John Barr< no role > of ye pish
of St Margaretts Westminster make oath That
both these Depts have made Diligent
Inquiry after Mr Valentine Dickens< no role > in ye
anne Etc peticon & order meaconed for
the Span of two months past But Could
not find or hear of him Other then that
these Depts. were Sometimes informed that
he was in the Mint at other times that he
was at the House or Lodgings of one Church
in Surry Street in ye Strand And Pticulerly
these Depts say that yesterday morning
they made Inquiry after him ye sd. Dickens
at ye sd Church's House or Lodgings
Surry Street aforesd where the sd Dickens
for Some time resided after he left his
House & Trade and [..] left wth ye Pson
yt Keeps the sd House a Coppy of ye sd
peticon & ordr & Desired her to delivd
or send ye same to ye sd Dickens and
also left and Coppy wth the sd Dickens
his wife at her now Lodgings in Stevens
Alley Westmr. the sd [..] Dickens's
House haveing been for above 3 or 4
Months past intirely Shut up And both
these Dept Say they Dee not know any
other place where ye sd Dickens could
be founds or heard of & the then ye
Places where they to made Inquiry
as aforesd or ye Mint
