Beit Remembree that on the Sixteenth day of June 1720
Richard Boddington< no role > of Red Cross Street in the Parish of St Sauls
Southwarke in the County of Surry Victualler in his Proper Person
as well as for the Parish of Saint Martins in the Feilds in the
Liberty of Westmr . in the County of Middx as for himselfe Exhited
to me Jeffery Saunders< no role > Esqr One of his matys Justice of the peace
for the Said County and Libty a Complaint and Information thereby
Informing me that One William Add< no role > is Master Tayler in Charles
Court in the Strand in the Parish of Saint Martins in the
Feilds in the Liberty and County a foresaid did then And there
onor abt. the Sixteenth day of May last past Sett on Cause
to be made or Sett on by him the Said William Add< no role > is Especiall
Direccon Seven Dozen and two Cloath Buttons and Six Dozen
and ten Cloth Holes on a suit of Cloth Cloaths for James Brooks< no role >
Contrary to the Act of Parliament in that Case made and
provided where by the Said William Addis< no role > hath for filed the
Sume of Twenty Eight Pounds and thereupon the said Richard
Boddington
< no role > who as well for the poor of the said Parish of St.
Martins in the Feilds in the Libty and County aforesaid as for
himselfe humbly prays the Judgment of his Matys Justices that
he may have one [..] Moyety of the said for feiture and the
Poor of the Parish of St Martins in the Feilds in the County
aforesaid the other Moyety thereof According to the Direccons
of the Act of Parliament in that Case made & provided
Upon a full Hearing all the Partyess do hereby Adjudge and
Convict the Said Willm. Addis< no role > upon the oath of James Brooks< no role >
a Credible Witness to be guilty of the Offentes aforesaid and forfeiture
of Twenty Eight Pound And [..] do hereby Ordr one Moyety to be Paid
to the Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poore of the Parish of St.
Martins in the Feilds in the County of Middx for the use of the poor
of the said Parish and the other moyety to Richard Boddington< no role > the
Informer Given under my hand & Seale this tweentyth day of June 1720
