County of Midle att Hicks hall in St. John
street in January Sessions 1717
for the Remove all & punishmt. of Drivers
of Wheelbarrows Singers of Seditions Ballads
Beggars & other nusances of what kind soever
& for ye Suppressing of Vice Imorality and
Prophaness P Jos: Woster< no role > High Constable
of the Towr : Division in ye County aforesd. have-
apprehended & carryed before his Maties: Justices
of the peace for ye sd. County Severall Singers of Seditions
Ballads Beggars Drivers of Wheelbarrows &
other Nusances and have been out wth. My Petty
Constables & Headboroughs in order to Suppress
Gaming and have taken [..] Severall Gamesters-
who have been found Gaming within ye sd:-
Division & have caused severall Keepers of sd:-
Gaming houses to be bound over to ye Sessions &
convicted Severall psons for prophanacon of
the Lords day Cursing & Swearing Dated the
31th day of May 1720
