hamblett being dead besides advantages lately happened
to the said hamblett whereby their poor dayly decreases,
Therefore the Petrs. further desired that theymaymight have a
heareing before this Court, and that the Court will
grant them such releife as in Justice shall seem most
convenient, And this day being appointed for heareing
the matter of the said Peticon, Now upon heareing of
what was insisted on by Mr. Theed of Councell for the Petrs.
complaining of irregularitys alledged to be comitted in
relacon to the Poors Rate of the said hamblett & alsoe
against Bastwick Johnson< no role > Esqr . one of his Maties. Justices
of the peace for this County inhabiting in the said
hamblett, and upon heareing of what was alledged
by the said Mr. Johnson & by Mr. Corbett of Councell for
the present Overseers of the poor of the sd. hamblett in
vindicacon of the said Poors Rate, This Court [..]
upon debate of the matter & heareing of what was
alledged on all sides Doth Order that soe much of
the Petrs. complaint as concerneth the sd. Mr. Johnson
(which this Court is of opinion is groundless) be and the
same is hereby dismissed, But to the intent that the
Petrs. (in case they are aggreived) may be releived in
the premisses according to Justice It is further Ordered
by this Court that it be And It is hereby recomended
unto Samuel Jones< no role > Daniel Dolins Thomas West< no role >
Robert Dennett< no role > Mathew Holworthy< no role > D'oyly Michel< no role >
Isaac Tillard< no role > & Bastwick Johnson< no role > Esqrs . Justices of the
Peace for this County or any three or [..]
to convene before them the present Overseers of [..]
poor of the said hamblett & the sd. Samuel Humston< no role >
and all other persons concerned, and to [..] peruse
& inspect the Poors Rate & accompt above menconed,
and to examine into the truth of the matters alledged in
the sd. peticon, And to report their opinions touching the
premisses unto his Maties. Justices of the Peace at the next
Generall Quarter Sessions of the peace to be holden for
this County, to the end such further Order may be made as
shall be just.
