Upon heareing of the appeale of the Churchwardens &
Overseers of the poor of the parish of Alhallows Lombard
street in the City of London against an Order beareing
date the twenty fourth day of March last Under the
hands & seales of Thomas Rand< no role > & John Whetham< no role > Esqrs .
then two of his Maties. Justices of the peace for the County
of Middx (Quorum Unus) whereby Elizabeth Ebrall< no role > widdoe &
her two children (vizt.) Josiah< no role > aged about two yeares &
William< no role > aged about six months were removed from the
parish of St. Giles without Cripplegate in the sd. County of
Middx to the said parish of Alhallows Lombard street
(being called in the said Order the parish of Alhallows
Lumberd street in the City of London) to be provided for
by the Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor there according
to law, And Upon heareing of what was insisted on by
Councell for the Inhabitants of the sd. parish of st. Giles
without Cripplegate & alsoe by Councell for the Inhitants
of the sd. parish of Alhallows Lombard street, For that it
appeareth to this Court that the sd. Elizabeth Ebrall< no role > & her
said two children were last legally settled in the said
parish of Alhallows Lombard street This Court doth
disallow of the said appeale and doth ratify & confirm
the aforesaid Order of the said two Justices of the peace,
And doth require the Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor
of the sd. parish of Alhallows Lombard street & all persons
concerned to yeild due obedience thereunto.
