To prevent these & the like in conveniences for the future wee are [..]
of opinion that the following Rules be observed

all


That the Clerk of the peace or his Deputy be appointed to take in
the old Licences and to receive the fees belonging to him and to
the Justices Clerkes for granting of new Licences and that No [..]
Clerke to any Justice doe receive any Licences or fees But that [..]
the Clerke of the peace Doe account to the Justices Clerks for
their fees as usuall

That noo new Licences be granted on those days but the respective
Victualers Who apply for such new Licences be required to lea [..]
their Names & the Names of their Sureties with the Justices of
the peace of that Division To the end they may be enabled to
enquire into the behaviours & character of such Victualers
before any Licence be granted them

That the Clerke of the peace of this County doe by himselfe or
his Deputy and not by his Clerks keep a Register for Entry of all
VictualersLicencesRecvg Mr Janut brought into his Office, and see that such
LicencesRecvg Mr Janut be duely entred in such Registrybefore they be signed
or delivered out by him or them to the Cryer of this Court or
Stet
any Victualer that shall desire the same & be wth MrStet

all


That allsuchLicences be entred in the Register and delivered
out to the Cryer of this Court within One Month after the
time of Generall Renewall And that the Cryer of this Court
be obliged to deliver the same to the severall Victualers on or
before the first day of Easter Sessions in every year

all


That noe Beadle be concerned in the delivery thereof to the
respective Victualers or exact or take any money from such
Victualers for bringing in their Old Licences or delivering out
their new Licences or on any other accompt whatsoever

all


That the Cryer of this Court doe from time to time keep an
exact accompt of such Licences as he delivers and of the persons
to whom the same are delivered

That all New Licences ought to be granted to Victualers by
two or more of the Justices of the peace who reside in the
Parishes where such Victualers inhabite or next adjoying
to them
