Whereas it appeareth unto us whose Hands and
seales are hereunto sett, Two of his Majties: Justices of the
peace of the said County of Middlesex (Quor unus) upon the
Complaint of the Church wardens & Overseers of the poor
of the Parish of Hanwell in the County of Middlesex
That John Richards< no role > and Mary< no role > his wife with their
Children (vizt) John< no role > aged abt: 20 years Willm< no role > : aged abt: 11
years George< no role > aged abt: 3 years and Elizabeth< no role > aged abt: 10
Years are lately Come into the said Parish of Hanwell
Endeavouring to Gett Settlements there contrary to Law
not having produced a Certificate to them Owning them
Inhabitants Elsewhere; And that they said John
Richards
< no role > and Mary< no role > his wife, and alsoe the said John< no role >
Willm< no role > , George< no role > and Elizabeth< no role > , are likely to become
Chargeable to the said Parish of Hanwell , Wee
upon Strict Examinacon thereof, and of the said John
Richards
< no role > taken before us upon Oath, Doe Adjudge
the same to be true, and that the place of their
last legall Settlement is in the Parish of
Harrow in the said County of Middlesex where the said
John Richards< no role > lived Eighteen years and Rented
a Farme there at about Eighty Six pounds P Ann
Having not paid to Church or Poore or otherwise
Acquired a legall, Settlemt. in any parish or place
whatsoever, Since: These are therefore in his
Majties. name Strictly to Charge and Comand you
forthwith to Convey the said John Richards< no role > and Mary< no role >
his wife and the said John< no role > , William< no role > George< no role > and
Elizabeth< no role > their Children, the next and Directest
way to the said parish of Harrow , and Deliver them to
